Well, I had originally thought that I would be able to get online a bit later tonight and post some more 'fun stuff,' but it doesn't look like I'll be able to. Instead, I chose to make this my last post of the night.
These are photos from 'Rolling Thunder '07'. If you have never been, I recommend you jump at the opportunity should it ever be presented to you. It's a pretty awesome experience. Thousands and thousands of people from all over ride their motorcycles to the Vietnam Wall in Washington, D.C. (or drive their cars to D.C. to see the bikes coming in and the parade they ride in). Bunches of others line the streets and overpasses on the interstates holding up American flags and signs with all kinds of inspirational messages. A group of I don't even know how many thousands of bikes met in Triangle, Virginia and rode out escorted by police. At one overpass that we came to, there was even a firetruck parked with the fire fighters waving and holding up American flags. It's incredible - All of those people show up for one common goal - To honor those that fought and those that were lost in the Vietnam War...They deserve every bit of it. I hope you enjoy viewing the photos as much as I did taking them!
